SETTING UP KIOPTRIX 2014 (#5)

This is the step by step guide to set up the kioptrix 2014 by vulnhub.

I am using VMware workstation Pro and Arch Linux as a host machine.

SETTING UP THE MACHINE

$ifconfig

Host IP add

FINDING OUT THE IP

$nmap 192.168.0.0/24

nmap result

I tried to find out IP address using netdiscover but in my case, that is not working. This is the way I set up my machine the above method may or may not work if you are stuck ping me on twitter I will be happy to help.
